"KNOWING A PERSON IS LIKE MUSIC,
WHAT ATTRACTS US TO THEM
IS THEIR MELODY,
AND AS WE GET TO KNOW
WHO THEY ARE,
WE LEARN THEIR LYRICS"

ANOUNCING MR & MRS PLUMLEY:
"After 9 years and 2 children
Jake and Bec finally get married."
Avid festivals goers when they first started dating, Jake and Bec wanted to create a music festival vibe, the festival to top all festivals of course was Woodstock. With this as inspiration they delighted in everything bohemian. From dream catchers, to crocheted blankets and a chill out tipi. Music was the binding fibres of the day, from the acoustic performance by Duncan Mackintosh, the tribute song by the Plumleys and the silent disco, with the right music you either forget everything or remember everything.
"Music goes into the ears and straight to the heart"
THE VENUE
Wave House Studios, Yallingup
Why here?
Where can we have our own mini festival? That was pretty much what we were looking for. A venue we could have all to ourselves, for as long as we needed, and invite our favourite people to celebrate with us. Boasting spectacular ocean views overlooking Injidup Beach, world class surf, its own natural amphitheatre and no neighbours on 50 acres Wave House Studios was exactly what we needed.
Combining our love of the beach and the bush it couldn't be more perfect. So the scene was set for WEDSTOCK 2016.

THE CEREMONY
Civil Celebrant - Andrew Baker
One Great Life
The important stuff...the actual ceremony. It had to reflect our personalities and the vibe of the day. We wanted it to be sentimental and moving, but also light-hearted.
Andrew had a wealth of knowledge and suggestions to bring to the table and with his creative guideance we tailored a ceremony that was unique to us.
Andrew was like another piece of the Wedstock puzzle that fitted so perfectly. Recalling the general feeling of the day...lots of hugs, cheering and love. Such a beautiful ceremony, thank you Andrew, you are definitely one of our 'epic' people.

We are the ones with the messy hair,
the dirty feet and that wild sparkle
in our eyes.
We belong amoungst the wild flowers, listening to the wind or with our toes dipped in the sea.

SILENT DISCO
Silent Disco - AudioVault Industries
the surprise
Early in the planning we decided a surprise factor would be a great element to include in the reception. So after the formalities were done, the bridal party and ourselves took to the stage. We stopped the music, then with 'Magic Fountain' by Art Vs Science cranked we spun the audiovault cases around to reveal 100 silent disco headsets. Our guests dove into the cases like they'd been waiting for this all night. With 3 channels to choose from, there was music for every taste. Anyone who started silent disco didnt stop dancing until the buses came to take them home.
